Is it me or is everyone stuck on flowmaster?

Daniel, what do you think of that sound clip of the 2005 Mustang GT? You had Flowmasters, can you tell the difference from the SDT mufflers?

Absolutely.

The lack of the "pang-pang" sound for starters. All you get is the growl.

Now if they really sound like that in real life (not through a microphone) I would definately give em a try. I like the Edelbrock name, too.

They run in three basic prices, depending on size and metal type/finish. I'm eyeing the 77525 which is in the mid price range, just over $100. I'm planning for 2.5" pipes, but the 3" in/out size may be better for flow of those mufflers. Chambered mufflers rely on bends and obstructions to quiet sound, the 2.5" outlets would be harder on both I believe. I could run adapters to the mufflers, to transition to smaller piping. I'm pondering it still.
