I am wondering if I should put an underbody light kit on my Explorer. I would like lights, but I am not sure if they will break when I am offroad. Does anyone know how well the lights will hold up. Any input would help.

the only way I see that they would mildly hold up is if you made a cover for them or something. But why do you need body lights on a Truck you Off Road in.??

B/c its an awesome offroad vehicle and a cool cruising vehicle
i wanna do both

Dude! I was trying to talk Joe Dietz into installing a bunch of yellow neaons under his monster 94 4x4, we could call them rock lights and that would justify the "need" for them. He didnt go for it.

Even on the street trucks they mount them up higher then the frame rails and they wont (could but it would have to be a pointy rock) get damaged off road.

If you are not going to be going 4x4ing on trails at night though why would you put these on your truck? I still dont get the whole neon light thing, but hey whatever floats your boat, not mine.....
