It's an '02....sooo.. It's got some life on it. At some point it stops being a build quality issue and becomes a "this is life and $hit breaks" kind of issue. You might have a real sweetheart dealer that will comp a little cost or throw something in but that's pretty rare. Unless your also the guy who buys a new Mustang or Superduty every other year. Then they might deal.
If you're doing it yourself, find the hub/bearings with a lifetime warranty. At least then, all you'll have in it next time they fail, is your time and busted knuckles...
