I've been hearing some new noises in my X recently. It seems that when I slow down (w/brakes) it sounds like an airplane idling from inside the cab! what could be the problem?

Can you give anymore information??

Extactally what the sound is.

When it does it, idleing, accellorating, coasting, reving, or only braking?

If it's only when you brake see if you're car is pulling one way or the other. I would have to guess it's in the brakes if that's the only time.

Try to get some more info and exactally find out when it does and does not do it.

I'd say the first thing you need to do is check the brakes. The noise you hear could be the front brakes grinding metal to metal.

the sound is only there when the brakes are applied. My alignment is off also... it pulls to the right.

lol everybody has a slight pull to the right in there x but yeah check your brakes make sure your not beating on your rotors
