Is the MAF supposed to rattle?

I was installing my KKM this afternoon and while attaching the adapter to the MAF I noticed that the MAF had a rattle to it. I took off the air sensors and made sure they were not broken, I dont know why the would be. Even with the air sensors out, it still rattled, but I could not locate anything loose to make the rattling noise.

Anyway, I finished with the install, put everything back together and took the truck for a short spin and it seemed to drive normal.

Any idea what it could be? Ive never noticed it before.

None of mine do so I am gonna say, no, they are not soupose to rattle.

That being said, if it works dont fix it.
