Is there a cabin filter in a 1998 XLT?

I started looking for the steps needed to change the cabin filter in a 98 xlt. That got me thinking that I'm not sure it even has a cabin filter.

So does it? I sure would like to change mine cause the cabin smells moldy. :exporange

nope. they make a spray to put into the A/C ducts to get rid of the moldy smell if that's where it's coming from (you should be able to get it at any of the auto parts stores). if it's the carpet, you'll need to replace it.

Thanks. I didn't think there was because I couldn't find anything on it but I thought I'd ask the experts.
