is there a difference from 2dr shackles and 4dr shackles?

On Dads sport his shackles have rotted nearly all the way and and since my 4dr explorer is totaled I was going to swap over my rear leafs into his before scrapping mine. But when we looked online for new shackles we kept seeing listing for both 2dr and 4dr separate but I though they were all the same.

Are they the same or not?

I know the 2nd gen ones have the same shackles...I wish I could tell you for certain about the 1st gen. sorry

shackles are the same for 4 door and 2 door when i look at rockauto. also, if your leafs are not sagged out, and his sport has the mono leaf, you should also swap the leaf springs over from your truck to his.

Thats what i'm doing. But we were going to put on new shackles and hardware while doing the swap. His is sagging tho mine is not. Plus he uses his more like a pick up truck than an SUV. Always hauling heavy stuff in it.
