Is there anyway to make the rear windows go all the way down into the door?

Just like the subject says.... I want to know if there is anyway to make the rear windows go all the way down like on the 2003 explorers. There has to be someway to disable the "child proofing".... any input would be great guys!!

No.

It's not really a child proofing thing (though that's how it's marketed) as a logistical thing. With the shape of the doors and the way they go into the rear wheelwell, there's no room for the windows to go down all the way.

Dude, that sucks..... I can't cruise with the windows sticking up 4 inches..... oh well.... i guess i'll just have to save up to buy a '03 which has the windows that go all the way down

B/c the passengers in the back seat cant hang thier arms out the window, the glass is in the way.... IMO~ it looks better to cruise with windows all the way down
