I searched thru all sorts of diagrams and it confused me more.
With a 2 channel amp bridged and DVC 4 ohm subs would this drawing equal....... watts rms x1 @2ohms ?

Also how do you tell if an advertisement such as the one below is 220w rms x1 @2 or 4ohms.... or is 4ohm speakers bridged always 2ohms?

My amp died and I just wanna amke sure I dont get the wrong amp. Thanks, heres the way my setup was.

If you get an amp that is 1 ohm stable, you wire it up like this:

Or you can get a 2-channel amp and wire them like this:

It might make more sense for you to get a JBL 300.1 or 600.1 from sounddomain, either one puts out more power then the alpine and the 300.1 is cheaper.

If you go this route you would wire everything is parellel to get a 1 ohm load.

If you want the alpine sub then it would work but you are only getting 110 watts per sub which isn't that much.

Well it turns out that i didnt know anything about what I had. I took the subs out of the box and they werent the model I thought, and they are SVC. Thanks to everyone on the board I got it all figured out. Here is the amp I bought. Rockford Fosgate 501BD.
