I couldn't figure out for the longest time what was making this whao'ing kinda sound in the front drive locked or not. Almost gave up until I noticed it last night while under there changing my anti freeze. I believe, well every sway bar I've ever seen have exact same set-up left and right sides. My drivers side mount, as you can see has been bent ( i may be totally wrong though ) ahead 1-1/2" - 3" depending where you measure the sway bar from left to right. My Dad musta used the "That Big handy tow bar under the front " to move drag or unstuck something. Someone please Is this sway bar Mount bracket Bent ???

That looks bent to me.. I don't have that on our X anymore, but I just helped replace sway bar bushings on an f-150 and it has the same frame mount it they were more square than that.

btw.. here is the pic.

Yeah. looks bent to me as well.

Doesn't look like anything a BFH couldn't fix though.

Thanks for the confirmation. I actually started to look up the term BFH like a BFdumbass. So would this be causing the whoa'ing drone'ing kinda sound I'm experiencing. here is the original thread concerning this noise which I thought was associated w/ having someone install man. hubs improperly. any new thoughts. Once Again Serious Gratitude to ALL From I

My passenger side looks on par w/ that. It's the drivers side thats in Question. thanks though. cheers

Yep, its bent. Probably been jerked on a time or 2. Just knock it back straight with a BFH. Mine was bent up when I got it and I just straightened it back up. Its in the trash now though.

replaced the bent bracket and humming whao'ing still there. like really, I have replaced everything but the diff in the frnt end.........I hope it's the tires that have suffered due to the bracket being bent because I really don't wanna have a repeat of the last explorer that pissed me off.
