I believe all explorer's have 2 1/4 inch exhaust. Don't quote me on that though Seems to me that for 350 bucks, you could buy a better exhaust system than that. I can't tell you much more than that, hopefully someone more knowledgeable will come along and help you out...

the standard is 2.5. (or so i thought)
i jusy cannot see the explorer with a v8 having a aftermarket 2 and 1/4 in catback.. sounds like i will be getting a custom setup..
i am aslo assuming since this saleen fits all explorer from 95+ it is not a direct bolt on..

The reason that catback is 2.25" is that it's mandrel bent. This actually equates to a 2.4" pipe from your exhaust shop. I still wouldn't pay that much though....
