Is this Normal?

I can start the X and remove the key letting it run. I was trying to unhook the garage door key and pull the set out and the X kept going.

Mine did it with the stock ingnition switch, and it still does it wit an aftermarket switch. I think it is great.
 






Ya I guess thats a good feature. But imagine if ya drive away without your keys and shut it off.
 












You still need the key to start the truck. You can just leave it running if you need to run back into the locked house.
 






it is not soupose to do that, but it is a nice feature.
you can warm it up on a cold day and still lock and unlock the door.

Thats why its nice to have a key pad :D
 












Hrm is this actually a feature of a truck or the sympton of a worm lock cylinder? i know i cant pull my key out when the engine is running.
 






my grandma's car had that happen with it..the dealer fixed it ASAP

What's a worm lock?:D :D
It's not good, because sometimes you don't turn your ignition off completely, and pull the key out, and anyone could turn it on.Allways check that it is locked all the way off.
 






worn! worn! i think it's time to goto bed, I didn't really think it was a feature of the truck but i wasnt sure since so many people said they where able to do that.
