I was talkin with a guy today that owns a small off road accesory shop here is Statesboro. He quoted me $1670 for the complete Superlift suspension kit for my 97 Explorer. He also said $450 to install. Is this reasonable?

Then I got to talkin and her told me if I got some parts (axels, springs, etc) he would do a sold axel swap for about $4000. Im thinkin thats pretty high. I guess I would rather have the satisfaction of doing it myself too. Just seed some tools.

$4000 AFTER you give him the parts??? That is pretty high. If you ask around, I know you could find a better deal than that. Are you a member of Georgia4x4?? One of the members owns a shop in Oakwood and is known to do pretty nice work. I am having him do a bunch of stuff for my truck, and he has given me some rather low quotes. If you join GA4x4, his name is bigcheese. Here's his website: www.cwoffroad.com

For the Superlift, that also sounds high for the lift but they don't seem to be getting any cheaper so IDK.

Yeah thats what I thought about the sas. I might just wait till I get some tools and more money and another daily driver and do it then. Ill look into the GA 4x4, thanks for the link.

BTW, BMX, where is CW Offroad located
