Issue with keeping truck running 97 explorer

Hi, im kendrell sort of new well about two weeks in with this forum and its been very helpful so far with the things i been addressing with my 97 explorer, i had a problem with my truck stalling, and did a smoke test before and after i change the hoses, lines, and other parts (iac,egr senor,tps,clean maf sensor, fuel pump including sending unit, fuel filter on the line, coil pack, wires, and plugs) plus other sensors i dont remember the name to. It starts up and idles great around 750, while its semi cool i can drive perfect but the warmer it gets it starts to shut off, like something is tripping and making the engine choke and cut off when i left my foot off the gas, between the local mechanic and this forum with my initial tread ppl or tellig me it might be a security issue, also my last code it threw was for the tps not responding with the mass air flow sensor thats why i changed the tps and clean the maf, and it said i needed to check the connection on the 02 sensors i changed a few months ago, but like i said my mechanic seems to think its something in the steering wheel because my linkage is off i think because when its in D its more to the left in 2, and i can pull my key out while its running so he thinks i need to change the whole column, which all the parts i change have been hit and miss i guess and still the same problem, has anybody heard of a security sensor or something in a truck this old that basically stock beside cc
