Cool. Congradulations... how was it done?

I didnt do anthing except:
1) Unbolt the motor mounts
2) Jack up the front of the motor until the Intake was very close to the fire wall,(the fan is nowhere near hitting the Radiator at this point),
3) Unbolt the pan
4) On the passenger side pull the pan down as far as it will go and you can see the pump bolts.
5) Unbolt the pump
6) Contort until free from pan
7) Remove pump drive rod
When I put in the new rod I used a big gob of grease on the end to hold it in place in the motor while I installed the new oil pump
The trickey part was removing the old rubber gasket and installing the new one. I laid it all out to see how to install it, the I put it in the bottom of the pan and had to feed it around the crank and other obstacles. the biggest problem is at the rear of the pan, there is very little clearance. With some patiance it can be done, and it saved me tearing out the whole motor. I anyone needs more info on this let me know.

watch out jim, OK89 and morrisey0 will start getting angry with you if you post congradulating anyone on the board  . 12 hours man? how many breaks you take? :D

I don't need to watch out! Jon and I go back a long way... And me and Robb have a few common interests too... We are cool!

only one, when I made head to Frame contact. had to let the pretty stars fly away before I could see what I was doing again!!!!!

Really? So did the frame headbutt you or did you headbutt the frame? I will ask the frame later to get both sides of the story. :D

Watch out who you listen too, those frames are a sneaky bunch! Thats how it got me in the first place!
