2002 4wd V8
2002 4wd V8 - 58k and I haven't been happier with any vehicle. ~15% of miles at a crawl in 4wd - very unusual here.

Anyway, today I had an idle incident - dies at idle, neutral or in gear, until warm. Probably 5th time. Service guy advisedme to whack the sensor device on the intake snorkel - but time to fix it, not patch it.

There are several other things I'd love to do for my ride - better mpg hwy for one - but I wouldn't trade this vehicle for any alternative 4wd/awd suv.

So, Im here to solve a specific problem and maybe try to understand what I need to be doing for future well-being as well as improve some performance issues - like hwy mpg.

¡Hasta pronto!

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the stock 2002-2005 section. The part that he was referring to is the idle control on the intake manifold. You should take it apart, and clean it thoroughly.
