This was a detail that one of my buddies over on the Meguiars forum did since, you know- you'll recognize the make and model of the vehicle... :D

Normally we would wetsand and bring back afterwards, but the customer didn't have that in the budget, so this was the process- this is all machined, btw- no sanding...

Solo red wool
105 not enough work time dusting up but cut ok
86 did not cut as well as 105
95 cut fine but not the clarity of 105
3M 6085 I had a little left in the bottle cut & clarity ok

Went with 105 and misted last touch for final passes
G110 set on 3 and # 105 with yellow 2.0 pad

G110 set on 3 and # 80 with yellow 2.0 pad

G110 set on 2 and # 21 with black 2.0 pad

How much for you to do my truck? :P

I have that exact truck (the same trim) So that would make that a 99 XLT :P And if I'm not mistaken, that's a F-150 right? (JUST KIDDING)

That looks really nice, you just did that in your garage?
What all products did you use? What was your process?
I want to know so much, lol.

Was not my work this time, my buddy did it, but it was a Meguiars G110 (basically a Porter Cable polisher) and the various Meguiars products listed in the thread...

You might check out the Meguiars Forum, Brad- there is a lot of knowledge over there on this stuff, and the Meguiars factory guys run the site and post a lot. There are a lot of how-to and picture threads. Great resource. They got me hooked years ago... Now I'm obsessive compulsive over my truck. :D
