Well it seems my luck with heater cores in cars finally ran out, my 95 has just developed a leak in it's core. and from what I gather I have to remove the dash and pretty much follow the same procedure as fixing the blend door.

Am I wrong and there is a better way or do I just go along and no replace the whole mess?

Taking it in is not an option as I have the poor college student fundage problem.

Yeah looks like a big PITA.

On first gens, it's so easy too. :(

Maybe there's a way to get to it by taking the glove box out and doing a little cutting?

Doesn't sound like much fun....I did it before and like an idiot on my mustang I forgot to label the vacuum hoses that connect the the box for the core to control the vents. I said screw it lol.

Holy crap! man it take 15 minutes on the earlier trucks...I;m on my 3rd core.....

Guess what I'm doing this weekend, pulling the dash, I've looked and looked and there is no way to get to it short of cutting and I'd rather not do that.

And my friends are wanting to finally get on the ball and install the Cadillac 500 V-8 into his '78 Impala
