hey i was wondering if anybody with a james duff 2.5" lift, could show me some pics of what it looks like on the truck. I want to get a mideum sized lift because a 5.5" costs too much and i dont go off roading that much (cough cough :) ) but i still need some lift. If you are running 33's thats even better and please show me those pics.

Try dooing a search in the before & after photo section. I know there are a couple X's and at least one Navajo that have the Duff 2.5" kit.

I don't think 33's will fit without a body lift or some trimming or the big prerunner fenders, with just a 2.5" suspension. I hear a lot of really good things about the Duff kit though. If I was building my truck for really mild 'wheeling, I'd go with the Duff Stage 2, but with custom coils and leaves for 3" and Perry's fenders with 33's.

ya i do plan on getting a body lift too, i just really want to run 33x12.50's instead of any 32. Does anybody else have pics of a james duff kit on their truck??

If you go to customer's rides at www.jamesduff.com they have a blue explorer on there with the duff suspension lift.

I run a Modified James Duff lift I am Closer to 3.5" of lift. I run 32's with out rubbing with stock tires. If you want 33's you will need a body lift to go along with the James Duff lift.

Do a search for "baexploder" - he runs a modified JD and 33" tires and I don't think they rub. We were down in Hollister and his set up looks really nice.

Contact "baexploder" for more information. TDavis helped him installed the kit.

The Blue explorer on the Duff site is our explorer.

When that picture was taken we had the Duff lift with 31x10.50 Yokohama Geolander MT tires on 15x8 rims with War-153 extended shackles..

We then went to 32x11.50 tires.. and they rub slightly on the inner fenderwell (we don't run with the inner fender anymore)..

Since then we have replaced the stock rear springs with duff add-a-leaf with a set of OME-36 springs (2.5" lift). The lift is closer to 3.5" in the rear.. and 3" in the front (small spacers under the front springs)..

The 32x11.50 tires work great and don't rub (with the inner fender well removed)..
