Does anyone have a heads up on what the new incentives will be after 1/4/16?

Thanks

Anybody know what the 2016 incentives were 1st quarter VS 2nd?

My recollection 1st qtr. was $500.00 retail cash or 0.0% interest for 72 months. Same for 2nd qtr.. For previous Ford owners, Ford Motor sent out a $500.00 customer loyalty card to be used for new purchase. I received card late 1st quarter. For my purchase I took the 0.0% for 72 months and used my $500.00 loyalty card. I picked up my ordered car as close to Memorial Day in case there was an additional incentive for that weekend. In my case there was none.

Currently a $2,000.00 incentive in our area now plus 0.0% for 60 months. This is better incentive than 2016. Hope your Explorer arrives before 4/3/2017 as this last day of this incentive.

Thanks for the info. Our Explorer should be arriving at our dealer any day now. My dealer did say that since it's at the local holding facility, we could still process the paperwork and lock it the incentives, but we're hopeful that it may be delivered today or tomorrow.

It's possible current period incentives may not exactly follow previous year since the start up production of the 2018 is 4 months later than it was for the 2017.

The current CA incentive expires 4/3/17 so you still have some time. Remember in CA we do not have a "cooling off period", you sign it you own it. I would inspect the vehicle before signing anything. Mines had a ding in the door and I had them make a notation on the due bill for post delivery remedy. In my case it was PDR (paintless ding repair).

I agree. Incentives do not follow any specific patterns from my observations. I treat them as stand alone items with the "get it while it's hot" attitude.

Also keep in mind that even if Ford has an expiration date, they can change it that date at any time.

Example, my fusion on order scheduled to be delivered at the end of the week had 0%/72 months on it plus $500 which ends on 4/3/17. When I checked last week, Ford decided to change it to 0%/60 months or 1.9%/72 months plus $500.

So even though the better promotion was expiring on 4/3, they decided to cancel it early and come out with a worse promotion. Fortunately my dealer locked the promo in at day of order so I can still get it but for those that don't, it truly is a day by day promotion.
