Anyway, I appear to be having some electical problems.

1. When I reset my odometer on the dash the "check gages" light comes on and the oil pressure gage starts dropping. Oil is fine, and it only does it when I reset.

2. When I press numbers on the radio (2 for example) I get station 1.

3. The driver door doesn't lock/unlock electronically anymore. By the remote or from inside, or even when I take off and hit 15 MPH and they all lock. If I manually lock the door, I have to use the key to get it open again. Also, with the alarm set I can open the door without setting off the alarm.

4. When the alarm does go off or I hit the lock button on the remote, the horn honking is very quiet, and slow.

So, do I have a loose wire or something, or should I be thinking bigger?

Thanks for any help.

Might wanna go to jeepsunlimited.com and try a search there. Since I no longer have the Explorer, I now drive a 1996 ZJ limited as well with about the same milage as you. There can be some useful info there you just have to sort through some of the BS to find it. But this is still the best forum around which is why I still hang around.
