jeep rims on my X

i call this guy and get to 200 dlls for the five rims w wheels

i know its a very good deal but how do you think they'll look?

im sure that i will paint'em black.
but, Will they fit?
and how will they look like.

some 1 have jeep rims on hes/hers explorer?

If they are factory HEEP wheels they might not fit. The center hub bore on them is smaller than Explorer wheels.

You will also want to check the offset. Jeep wheels usually make the tires stick out pretty wide on explorers.

As others noted the bolt pattern is the same, offset is a little different but otherwise usually they fit. If the tires are what you are after then by all means buy them if its a good deal. You can always swap the rubber with the ford rims and sell the rims. If you needed the rims you can still use the ford centercaps

You have that backwards. I used my stock Explorer wheels when I did my SAS using a Dana 30 out of a Jeep Cherokee and I had to remove a lip that was about 1/32 to get my wheels over the hub assembly.

I had always heard it was the otherway around that HEEP wheels had a smaller hub bore.

Careful as some jeep rims are very small as in 15x6 , i bought a pair only 2 rims and Super swamper tires , they were 33-12.50-15 monted on the stock jeep 15x6 , it screwed the tires all up being on too small of a rim , just beware when using jeep rims , I wont bolt them on any of my rigs !
