Jeep yj front bumpers on Explorers??

I have been reading and searching with no real answers. I have read that with little to no modification to bumper and just removing the bumper mounts for a basic square end. A jeep yj bumper will work on the Explorers. I know that some of us on here have used bumpers for yj's ( boomin to name one) It would depend on design also.

I would like to know for the record if indeed the Jeep yj bumpers will work on the explorer.

Anything will work. The question is how much do you have to modify to make it work. I remember reading about some member on here that had to cut 8 inches off of the front of his frame to get his jeep bumper to work.

The Jeep bumpers will definately not bolt up to the Explorer frame without modification.
