jensen or sony explode?

OK guys if you had no other choice what so ever for a 4 channel amp to power some door speakers would you go with a sony explode amp or a jensen? both amps a rated at 500 watts max. I ask because this is for a friends car and he only can afford one or the other.

well I know that but he doesnt want to wait so I need a quick answer so he can get at least get the best one out of these 2. this is gonna power aftermarket speakers by the way

Sony > Jensen. Ignore max wattage. The higher RMS the better.

run the speakers off the ehadunit and wait to get a better amp.... a good head unit will power about 25 watts rms to the speakers and will sound a lot better than some huge watt crappy amp

def get the sony over the jensen if he cant wait for an amp......

dont put the speakers on an amp yet...powering the speakers off the HU will be sufficent for now...let him save some money instead of spending more later...the sony's name says what its gonna do right in the prduct name ("explode" for those that didnt get it) and ive never owned anything with teh naem jensen on it that wasnt a waste of my time and money

sad thing is...i went a show(stereo comp) with a few top name companys there..and jensen was by far the best demo vehicle there....they had sony,fosgate,alpine,and a few other big names at the time(was prolly 6-10 years ago)
