Just started a couple of days ago. WhenI'm accelerating around highway speed or going up an overpass, the whole car starts jerking slightly like it's misfiring or that the brakes are sticking. Also, the red battery light comes on intermittently after being in the car for about 20-30 minutes. I honestly don't know if these problems are related or not. My gut says alternator, but I'm not quite sure.

Have the battery checked along with the alternator at an AutoZone store. My '10 Ex did weird things when my battery got weak (it was about 2 years old). Cleared up completely with a new battery.

Had battery replaced at autozone. Alternator checked out fine. Still have the same issues.

I had similar problems, it is most likely either your TPS or alternator. In my case the alternator output appeared ok but was not steady, would spike out too high and threw everything off. When changed out fixed everything.

I would check out all of the ground cables, also.

This. Had same issues, was a corroded ground cable. Had to cut 2 inches off of the ground cable to get past all the corrosion. Wife took it to shop and they wanted her to buy a new battery and a new alternator.

I did change the alternator later one for a larger one, but for different reasons.
