4WD high light comes on intermittently

[My94Explorer]

I've got a 1994 Explorer XLT with a 5 speed manual transmission that I bought new in '94. It has 135,000 miles on it. I don't use 4WD too much except in the winter. Lately the 4WD High light has been coming on when I first start it in the morning, then after exactly 10 minutes it goes out. 4WD isn't engaging, I'm just getting the light. Is this something that I should be concerned about or do you think that my Explorer is just trying to tell me that it wants to go Exploring? Photo was taken Sunday morning on my way to work.

[Running an Explorer]

My ex does the same thing, sometimes both the 4x4 and low range lights are on. My 4x4 and low range works as they should. And like yours, it goes off after a couple of minutes.
