new to the site and of course I know I need help with a mechanical problem,
But 40 years and I still have never been lost yet, so I guess you win some and lose some lol
any way rearend on my 1998 xlt awd tow pakage 5.0L, is locked/ locking up.
I have 1994 xlt with tow package fdor parts in the back yard ( don't all ford and saab owners have parts cars in back?)
Am in the process of pulling out 94 rear end shocks and all to swap with the 98 rear end, biggest issue I see is making sure the gear ratio is the same ( front and rear ) and swapping over the disc brakees from the rearend going/gone bad.
Am I lost or am I on the right track
