JL Audio W7

Anyone running the new JL Audio W7's??? or know about them??? I was thinking a pair of them might be a good compliment or replacement for my Eclipse Titanium cone 12s.

My brother runs a w7 just one word for that sub awesome,I could not imagine having two of them.

my friend has on installed in his S-10. it's a good sub but not worth the $600 price tag. and the sq isnt very good. i think you'll be happier with the Eclipse titaniums. but if are looking for more boom, then check out MMATS Juggernauts. they are much better than the W7's. unfortunately the W7 is surrounded by a lot of hype, and that's why people think they are so great and the price is so high. in a year, they will probably be a lot less $$$$/

i just re-read my post. dont think i was putting it down. it is a really good subwoofer, but i just dont think you would like it as much as your eclipse subs.

His one w7 puts out more that both of my w3's.

I looked at the MMATS a while ago when I was looking into getting a couple of their 1200D amps or whatever model it is. (their D class amp) I dont know what I am going to do, I was just looking for thoughts/opinions so thanks much for the help and future additions are appreciated

well i sure as hell hope it could beat the w3's... they're 2 completely different subs...

I have Ecliplse aluminums and i am sure the Titaniums sound better than the one i have. But damn i cant imagine anything louder than mine. Its already too much bass. Plus the pricetag is a little high.

In the quest for ultimate bass, price is almost not an concern. Maybe another pair of the Ti cones would be the ticket.

I listened to a single 12W7 running with 500 watts in an Acura and this sub is incredible. No matter how loud he turned this thing up it still sounded awesome!

It made me want one!
