John Hickey's shackle thread - because I don't want to search

hey guys i need help.

is there a way you can buy shackle extensions or extented them so that i can get 33 on my truck i already have the tires they just wont fit and the front ones do. i have the torsion bars twisted in the front and i need 1 1/2 inches in the back can anyone help

This is in the wrong section! Needs to be in the modified 2nd gen. Your not going to get much help here.

Search that section, you will find a ton of posts, and links to find the shackles. Yes they will give you 1.5" of lift in the rear.

do a search for shackles. there is a couple companies that sell them u can also pick up a part from autozone for 18 bucks i think.

So now you want to lower your Explorer? Adding blocks to a spring under axle will make the vehicle lower.

haha dude are you being serious? desertrat.com sells the shackles. it's part number war153. You could have found that out the day you posted this thread if you would have typed in war153 in the search.
