went to veiw an explorer today and ended up paying a deposit,so should pick up on friday.its a 99 4ltr 69000mls ,paying 2k but its immaculate body and fsh its not been offroad and auto box is fine as is atf ,a little bit more expensive than i was hopeing but seeing its not even 10 years old i would like to think ive got a bargain lol.petrol shouldnt come as ashock as im getting roughly 23mpg out of my v6 mondeo st24 estate which im goingto keep garaged so all in all im looking forward to the drive back when i collect it.had a test drive and everything seemed tight shook the steering and nothing unusall happened and auto box selected within 1 second of selecting in d and r and moved nicely from 1 thru to d.very comfortable and plenty of space well happy
