i paid $149.15. extra 3 day shipping too. i had found a coupon and ended up paying less then the parts with no shipping included lol
ford parts and a nice price considering you get everything. but being its the ford parts that keep wearing out im glad i spent it on these.

Supposedly Ford revised their rockers so they are harder and will no longer wear like that, otherwise I'd have gone with Sealed Power too. So far there haven't been reports of new ones having the same problem, so either or might be good. I just felt the entire assembly from Ford was a better deal. But with a coupon Rockauto is nice. Hopefully you won't have to replace any of those lifters!

You should toss those old rockers so Brandon HAS to buy new ones like he knows he should...

Ok its going to be next week.ill check to see when i have off.ill be super busy sun with my stuff.boomin is going to help me out so i should get it done sun

You tried putting a torch on them? I had to get mine red hot in order to shake/melt off the amount of thread lock that was on them...

Oh, completely understandable. It has to be the thread lock thats yielding you then!

Wwitch bolts are they? Take a pic.i dont quite understand witch bolts? You get your fan off, tranny bolts ,and radiator out?

bolts im trying to do are the y-pipe to manifold flanges
i got 5/6 off the manifold to block passenger side and 2/6 manifold to block drivers side
trans isnt unbolted yet, rad is out, fan is still in. the wrench for it just hops off the bolt when turned

ill get new pics of how it is now tomorrow. its dark, cold and i goto work in 5hrs lol

Oh god, the headers to heads bolts SUCKED! (I assume those are the 6 per side you speak of)

May I recommend just working on the headers to Y-Pipe bolts, should be 2 on each side, then taking the heads off with the headers attached.. SO much easier to work with then, especially driver's side because of the steering shaft.

Those two bolts are they ones his is working on

Hey did you get new valves and springs for that cam?

i didnt get new springs cause if i read correctly i only need those with a 422? and the valves i didnt buy either. either keep mine/buy oem/buy se ones when the time comes

im in limbo with os updating right now, but when im done ill show exactly the bolts ive messed with. ill put up my spark plugs too, cause they arnt really that old and $30 saved is always nice

Yeabut its right on the limit of spring pressure.comp cams says you need them.most people run new stock ones as if you have alot of miles on them they lose there strength.

dont you have to get the heads widened to fit the comp cams springs? maybe ill just stick with new stock.

with the heads, do you suggest that porting stuff you got done? will it take the 245ci stock and make it bigger from that? cause i dont really care to do all that
