yea just #1 is 2cc higher, the other 5 are all 206. is the number itself a good flow rate for me?
i like em too. kinda like a dark silver color. almost like black chrome to match my stuff. with light olive green plugs and blue caps lol
so theyll stand out against my black intake/fuel rail

idk what the ideal flow rate is but know the closer they all are they better!

well im getting closer jd. paint, tensioner, crank, efan, timing set and ps pulley is all thats left. i need to find one of the retaining clips for the valves, it fell on the floor and i saw where it went but its not where i watched it land!

im thinking 14th or 16th for us to get it built/in, MAYBE the 9th(since the crank/fan can be sent last minute and get here the next day)
make a note to bring the ring from the throttle sensor and the lifters!

i have a spare lock also:D pricing is in for the trip its $4 per person per night and its 90 miles one way

going to have to be the 14 or 16.im still waiting on this damn body lift to show up!!should have been here Monday or by wed!!

its the one for the exhaust i think, the smaller valve. ill try and find it but the damn things so tiny and the garage is so dirty lol

14th would be best, or sooner if somehow possible. that way theres more time to test before driving for the richmond meetup.

did he ship it ups? thatd get here the next day...
im thinking about a body lift myself along with solid axles. but its to early to think about that yet

found the water pump pulley! now i know why, its only been listed as 93-01 years. dont know why it isnt listed for 91-92. my new pump says 97tm on it anyway.
the part number if anyone wants to know: dorman 300-942. cheapest was on rockauto, it came to $23.40 (5% off).
now i dont have to take that damn fan off. i did get the 4 bolts out of it to mount the new one.

so um jd, or anyone thats been to the pick-n-pull here. can you drive into the lot, or you you have to carry all your crap in on foot?

further into the tranny fluid change.. any special way to get it out or am i just gonna have it all gush out from the pan when removed?
i also saw on youtube to drain, refill with new fluid, remove the supply line and start the truck and let it spit it out until red and clean(refilling with fresh while its doing that), then replace with more new fluid for good.
was said this was better then just draining cause it removes the old fluid from the torque converter also.

You got to carry your stuff in.yep always good to get it all out.may want to check your bands also

if youre say to start checking stuff, maybe we can do all that and change the fluid when we build the engine? ive never touched a tranny
i would like to replace it down the road, but i just cant right now. still debating m50d even tho ive never drove a stick lol

damnit. i guess i gotta pack everything in a little tool box then. do they allow power tools(cordless of course)?

They have wheelbarrows.yea.whatca going for?

random things. mostly cosmetic interior stuff. pasted from my list:
rear passenger door panel
cover under steering wheel
bottom half of center console
courtesy light on drivers door
door lock tip on backseat door
x1 "V" wing for valve cover
x1 mid-sized motor-to-tranny bolt

i need a seat for my grandpas pickup also

Let me know if you see any 92-96 f-150 spring seats.

the site says theres 9 trucks on the yard from those years. so theres probably atleast one set

Wow didnt know they even had a site.ill have to go down there wed unless they happened to be laying out and you trip over them;)im doing my body lift monday;) i need an 93 intermediate ebrake cable i think also

According to the thread on it. I should bring jack, stand, spring compressor, sockets/wrenches big enough. I may take all I can. Sell them to people on here. Don't hold me up on that tho, I may not feel like doing all that work :p

Rod journal 2.1252 to 2.1260 with a taper or out of round limit of.0003
crank main journal 2.2433 to 2.2441 with a out of round limit. 0003
So really you can use you old crank without haven it ground if your within those spec but.0003 is a very tight worn limit!!

Ok so I got to the in laws place today and dug out the crankshaft.

I measured a bunch of times on each journal and am certain about the numbers down to about the thousandth of an inch but the ten thousandth is somewhat questionable (my calipers are a cheap plastic kind)

Rod journals: 2.1255
Main journals: 2.2355 <- makes sense because the guy I bought it from said it was ground about .010 under stock

I am sure you can get main bearings for that size. The only thing I am not sure how to measure for is out of round on either journal. JD any ideas?

I would recommend measuring the journals yourself again just to be extra sure on the sizes before ordering bearings.

yea they sell them oversize for that. it seems like its good, but mr 4l ohv will confirm it

i did happen to see a 92 f150 that had the coil buckets, i didnt look anymore then that cause of the rain.
i didnt get any interior pieces i wanted, they were all gone or broken :(
i did nag a overhead console from a 2nd gen in ugly eddie tan color.

when you go get your coils, get me the tranny bolt, i wouldve but the ground was rocks and mud
