Hello all, I just registered here today and wanted to Throw a huge thank you out to everyone who contributes here at the site. My Lady and I decided to get rid of our one car payment this year so We picked up a 2002 Mountaineer V6 AWD rather than Sign another lease. I am the 3rd owner, the last owner got it in 04 with 30k on the O.D. and We got it with 70k last week. Of course as with most used vehicles , come the repairs. I had the Dome Light issues (Broken Driver Door wires) Key Stuck in Ignition, Door Ajar Notifications, Low Oil Pressure and zero gauge reading ( previous owner had pressure checked manually and it checked out good, he drove it that way for 2 years) Remote Start wouldn't work (because Key stuck issue) , and my AC comp don't work . Thanks to this site and all of the knowledge and input I was able to correct all but the AC compr. And Low Oil Reading (replaced sender still reads zero) I have read the wiring harness/ oil spill shield threads but my truck is a V6 Not the 4.6 V8 . Its entirely possible the AC needs recharged and the oil sender wire has bad connection . So just a thank you to all Again .
