Just bought an 04 XLS

Hello,
I just bought a new 04 XLS 4 dr Explorer for my wife and I was wanting to add a little more power ,.......like a supercharger (preferably a centrifical type). I was wondering what types (if any) are available.

Welcome to the site!!! Not many people get the modification bug until after they have been here. You jump straight to the charger on post 1. I believe www.ExplorerExpress.com has assembled a kit for the SOHC.

I've been an avid Ford gear-head for quite sometime. I have (2) 93 Ford Lightnings,.......One a little more than stock,...and one not even close to stock (putting down 600rwhp) a 95 SHO (soon to be sold) and an 01 Honda Magna. So,....needless to say, I have a "little" need for speed.

I've had a little experience with a positive displacement (roots/screw-type) blowers and I wasn't that impressed. I hope the one from Explorer Express is better.

Do any companies (Vortech,Powerdyne or etc...) offer a centrifical for the 04 4.0 SOHC motors?
