Ok, I Put A Full Can Of Seafoam In The Gas Tank Last Night, plus About 12 Gallons Of 92 Octane. Today I Just Did The Brake Booster Line With The Seafoam. I Was Pouring It In Slowly Through A Funnel In The Hose. It Started Smoking A Little Bit,not Too Bad. After I Got About A Little Less Than Half The Can In........holy Fu**ing Sh**!!!!!!!!!!! Lol....i Never Seen So Much Smoke!!!!!! I Thought It Smoked After You Put It In Let It Sit Then Start It Back Up!!! Now Mind You...the Truck Was In My 2 Car Garage Which Is Attached To The House!!! With Only 1 Of The 2 Doors Half Way Open! So Im Sure You Can Imagine How Smoky It Was!!! So Anybody That Is About To Do This, That Has'nt.....please Do It Outside Like I Read I Should Of Done.lol.i Would Of Done It Out In The Driveway If It Wasn't -20 Below 0!!!!!

i did it through my brake booster and gas tank like he did and you could tell a diffrence. you can also put it in your oil to

I would do the seafoam thing except i cant find it in these crappy canadian parts stores.

I Have'nt Noticed Any Better Mileage Yet. I Just Did Earlier Today, then I Drove About 5-6 Miles. It Seems Pretty Peppy! It Takes Off Pretty Good! I Think It Helped. I Put A Can In The Gas Tank Last Night. Then Did About A Half Can Threw The Brake Booster Line Today.

I think Seafoam is way over rated. I used 2 full cans in the gas tank (2 fill ups), half can in the engine oil 50 miles before oil change, full can of the tranny seafoam in the tranny, 1 full can through a intake vacuum line. Only thing I noticed was the smoke it creates. Gas milage is the same, no difference the way the engine and tranny run (86,000 miles). Must be a psychological thing, like the sugar pills the shrink gives people that think they have a problem. Its a great parts cleaner, like taking the throttle body off and hand cleaning it, and taking the brake dust off of the rims.

Gonna try Lucas next.

Btw. Forgot to add, IF it does clean anything, its just gonna gunk up your cats, the carbon it cleans off in your engine got to pass through the cats. With the fine honey comb screens in there it is for sure to cover them with heavy carbon deposits over time. I would take a weekend and buy a few cans of seafoam, unbolt the cats and run open exhaust just in my driveway and run a 4-5 cans through a vacuum line on the intake. Then when the smoke clears, bolt the cats back on. Just my $0.02

I Dont Know, I Read A Lot Of Positive And Good Things About It So I Figured I Would Try It. I Usually Use Lucas Products. I Love Lucas!i Use Lucas In The Gas, Power Steering Fluid And Tranny. I Just Thought I Would Give The Seafoam A Try.

Yea I Hear What Your Saying About Gumming Up The Cats. But In My Case I Removed Both My Cats. The 2 Manifolds Tie Into One 2 1/2" Pipe Going Back To A Turbo 2 Muffler.

so i have 319000 miles...will this damage anything with this many miles...also i have a spare 4.0 ready to go in.....

It'll foul up your plugs too.

Wow! 319,000! And Still Going? Thats Great! I Dont Know If It Would Hurt With That Many Miles Or Not. If You Got A Spare Motor, hell Try It!. I Heard Its Hard On The Spark Plugs To. I Just Did It Because In A Few Weeks Im Changing My Plugs And Wires.so I Thought Doing The Seafoam Like 2000-3000 Miles Before I Change The Plugs And Wires Wouldnt Hurt.i Hope It Dont Anyway!

I did it twice to my truck within two days but i only used 1/3 through the brake booster no where else. Trying to get rid of the stupid annoying motor knock. Seems like it helping but might have to do more. Im not sure to put it in the gas but anything that helps.

Lol,yea I Saw That. Thats Cool!where Abouts In Nw Ohio?

Ok Ok I Know Where That Is. Bg Isnt Far From Me At All.

It'll foul up your plugs too.

Why does this happen?

Incidently, when I used about 1/3 bottle of Seafoam, the plugs were fine.
But, when I used 1 full can, all 6 plugs were fouled.
