I picked up a 93' sport cheap for a winter work rig + summer time fun truck. I have a set of 3/4 tread 32x9.5x15 swampers sitting around I'm going to mount them up on a set of stock wheels. I plan on doing 2" leveling coils up front as I should have enough adjustment, the ball joints adjusters are almost all the way to the outside. I'm debating what to do with the rear, I have access to a ton of F150 parts so I was thinking of doing the spring pack swap BUT will I get too much lift out of a F150 pack on my sport? I could also build a new set of shackles too. Which would be the better route to go. For winter I plan on running a set of 235/85/R16's since tall and skinny works so well in the snow. I also need to ditch my 3.27 open rear and front diff and talk to the neighbor about the rusted out explorer he has parked out back with a B.O. A4LD and posi 3.73 gears in it!

Extended shackles should get the rear up 2" without affecting the ride like swapping leaves would. I'd go that route.

Yeah either go with the 10.00 Autozone lift shackles which alot of people on this site run or the warrior shackles. The warrior shackles are alot stronger than the autozone ones but they're 69.95.....Here is a pic comparison of the two, autozones being first....Pretty much just 2 pieces of metal....

And Warriors....

it's your choice but strength wise the warriors are the way to go!

Another though, I also plan on Lugging around a #2000 boat trailer and 2 place ATV/snowmobile trailer when I don't have access to the Wifes Mounty. Would I be ok with Warrior style (home made) shackles, or would the F150 swap be a better Idea? How is the flex with the F150 pack?
