Mods, please feel free to move where necessary.

I just got this for 2k. It needs some work and I haven't been on the forums in forever.

Lifted 1986 5spd 2.9L v6
I need to get the dash lights and speedo to work again. The 4wd is not engaging and I'm pretty sure the tcase might be damaged. 33" in the front and 31" in the back. It seems to have a vacuum leak or something as it stalled out on me when I was bringing her home. 4*4 is not engaging at the moment. Not sure on the size of lift.

I wouldn’t engage 4wd with diff tires front to back!! In the 1986 the speedometer is cable driven, you quite possibly just need a new cable.

The touch drive 4x4 system check the fuses first. If that does not work then there is a 4wd control module with a self test button and light. The shift motor on the back of the t case is the most common failure point, they can usually be rebuilt on the bench to get them working like new again

What are your plans for it?

Thanks for posting it up! I
Love
My bronco ii been daily driving it for like 25 years

This is a perfect candidate for a 4.0 ohv conversion!!
