Just got a new explorer! Tell me what you think.

My parents just got me this as an early graduation present. It kinda has alot of miles but i plan to make it a 347 within a few months. Let me know what you think.

Yeah i have 2 now, One will be a trail rig.

Bipolar- I wanna put a stroker kit that will make it into a 347. This would freshin the engine up a bit.

The main reason i got a new one is because my 94 is falling apart. Either of the back doors open, The front driver door only opens from the inside. The passenger rear window goes up and down by its self. I have fixed most the stuff at least once but it still always broke. But now it will be mainly for the trails so im pretty happy.

wow. Cool. You gonna make your trail rig topless? A cage?

Well, if you're seriously considering putting in a 347... that's what I'd do first. It would be useless to add any motor mods beforehand. Same with exhaust. You'll need larger exhaust with a 347 than you would with a 302. So about the only real performance mod that would be the same on both motors would be an open air intake.

Any idea what 347 you're going with and what HCI you'll use?

Section- Im not sure i havent really looked into it to much. My sisters boyfriend is a 5.0 freak and kinda filled my head with this stuff. I plan on going to Wyotech next year so thats where i plan to learn how to do all this motor stuff.

Im not sure yet my Dad picks it up on Tuesday. It will be a huge difference compared to what i have now. Im running 35 with 3.73's and its just ball less.
