Just got my new amp

Tonight my stereo shop had an after hours invitation only sale. I was able to get a Diamond Audio D7401 800 watt monoblock amp for $500. Now all I got to do is save enough money to get a new box built and have it installed.

Sweet. I have been invited to those from my audio shop but never went. Obviously you got a good deal or you wouldnt have bought it but are those special invites worth going to?

My shop does it 2-3 times a year. Ussually they do it to hel;p clear out excess or older stuff, like wjhen an updated model of amp, sub, radio, etc. comes out, they need to get rid of the current one to make room for the new model replacing it. I have found that ussually the prices at the sale are anywhere from 30-80% off the normal prices. I got a 15-inch eclipse titanium sub last year for $600, which ussually runs from $900-1000. Sometimes you will save only $50 or you could save $500, but ussually you can get better equipment for the price of cheaper equipment.I would say just go check it out, it doesn't cost nothing, and you could end up finding a really great deal.

The nice thing is this amp is 1ohm stable also, which means more power than 800 watts.
