just install some performance parts need a little guidance

like the title says just install some performance parts on my 2003 explorer eddie bauer V8 .
i put in a k & n cold air intake
a magnaflow cat back
and a jet chips mass air flow sensor

so my questions are
service engine soon light come on and the code reads out air intake is it the cold air or the mass air flow sensor causing this or both.
And the truck runs fine

will a chip or programmer fix this

and if so what do you guys recommend

The K&N kit could have gotten oil on the MAF Sensor. Seems to be a common problem and I'd get it cleaned up and see what happens. The next mod I would to is an SCT X3 from hensonperformance.com to top it all off With that, you can check your CEL's and know what to look for.

Edit- Also try to reinstall the original MAF Sensor and see what that does. If you installed a larger one, I believe it needs to be calibrated to your injectors or something? I could be way off base, been to long since I messed with this topic

re-install the factory MAF... the intake was made to work with the factory, i think that will solve your problem...
