Just ordered my Visteon Mach MP3 player! :)

its all good . Just got the unit installed about an hour ago. I kid you not, had the old unit out and the new unit in in about a minute and a half. Everythign plugged right up, snapped right in. The regular music seems much better and tested it with an mp3 cd and it kicks ass! I was playing with it for about a half hour or so and so far gotta say I'm real impressed! It's got about twice the ampage of my stock unit so I'm pretty impressed . The only thing about it I'm kinda iffy on is the glossiness of the front face. It's really glossy, which is ok but I was kind of hoping for a MORE stock look. Ahh well what can ya do.

i have an external cdrw drive that is 16X10X40. but mine uses the firewire port instead of USB. when i was looking at them, the USB seemed too slow and the 24X firewire was too expensive so i went with 16X.

I have upgraded my front speakers already with Pioneer TS-6865's (I think thats the model number, they're 3-ways designed specifically for Fords.

I just got a pair of those Pioneer 6x8's for the front doors. I'm anxious to see how they'll perform.

Hehe, I have those same 6x8's in the rear deck of my Mustang, with a little Alpine amp hooked up to the factory AM 8-track player (no joke). Sound pretty decent for what I paid for them, nice low-end response (I have them running in Free-air), 'course my head unit ain't exactly the pinnicle of clarity ...

They should do just fine for me, I'm putting the Pioneers up front and a pair of Kenwood Excelon 5x7's in the rear. Along, with my pair of 12 inch Kickers, I'd say I'm in for a treat
