Just ordered some Tails..

My truck isn't outta commision or nothing but I do need help kinda quick. My friend ordered me some euros for my truck (97) but the ebay item said 98-01, ive heard both sides, some say they fit, some say they dont... any help would be VERY much appreicated so he can cancel order b4 they get shipped out!!

you'd need the 98+ hatch style to make the tails work

I dunno what the rest of you are talking about, I had a 98+ tail light on my 97 for about 3 months worked great!
It was bright, everything worked, looked a little bit different but i had no complaints.

yeah the light stuck out about an inch but i dont care. it's there, it's functional i won't get a ticket. if i had a pic of the hatch closed i'd post that too.

Here's a site you can order from I was searching the net for 1st gen tails and found these guys coolights.com I've never delt with them but they have lights for my truck

And lights for yours

No, he didn't. The tails hang 1 inch over the contours of the hatch. If you don't believe me, just ask section525.
