My stock retangular 37.5 watt fog lights were extremely dim from the plastic lenses turning yellow and almost opaque and inner reflectors that were pitted and oxidized. Today, I installed forum suggested KC 26 Series 2"x6" clear fogs. It was a perfect fit and the 55 watt bulbs along with crystal clear glass lenses and shiny reflectors makes for a lot of light from a small package. It even retains the stock look!

^^^Always wanted to use that.^^^ Never got a chance before. Thanks, pabille.

Was the mounting of the lights difficult or were you able to use the OEM bracketts?

pics?!?!!?

My fault on not sending pics, Bill and Afboy143. I used the same frame bracket that the stock lights mount on. I reused the rectangular spacer from the stock lights to bolt on the KC's. I inserted the spacer between the rear of the frame bracket and the new nut.

It's dark and rainy out here in L.A. right now. You know how us Californians melt in wet weather. I'll try to get a pic using that sweet west coast sunshine in a day or so.

I managed to shoot these with a phone before I lost light so sorry for the crappy rez. Notice the rectangular spacer that I reused to mount the lights in the existing frame bracket. The other side has a square flange that fits in a square hole. I figured it fit and it saved me a trip to the hardware store.

WhoooHoooo!
Looking good pabille. Perfect fit. I imagine they put out a lot more light than the stock fogs.

Thanks for the "acknowledge", Bill. They are definitely brighter.

They look pretty nice, good pick.

Very good, I've been waiting for a stock sized replacement thread.

cost

Whatdaya pay for them. I've been looking for a while at these.

It's been a while since I picked them up but I got them from 4wheelonline.com. They weren't cheap as Walmart specials at about $28 each.
