I'm a first timer to this forum or even doing this online. Iguess this is the Explorer "my Space" When I do ask for help, I hope I don't offend hard core explorer guys and gals. I will probably do some forum searching, but my problem is thus: putting a 1948 F1 body of a 2000 Explorer Awd chassis. I have eliminated the front wheel drive train, engine and trans. I hope to install a ford 302 and C4 trans on the 2000 explorer frame. Besides changing the 302 to a rear sump oil pan set up, can the change be accomplished without changing the whole front suspension? I would appreciate any helppppp! thanx, streetrodpa
