Well, the rear drivers side wheel well is drooping down, compared to the other three wheel wells. This suddenly reminded me of the problems I had with my various towncars, air suspension. I would like to know, does a '97 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer use air suspension? And also, is it expensive to fix this problem on this vehicle?

Its probably dropping cause your fuel tank is located on that side..

I should take a pic.

The thing is, it is dropping sooo badly. Like it shouldnt be that low in one corner. Now, I am not to sure if the vehicle has air suspension and what not, the car isnt at my house, but at another storage area i own. But, I first thought, if it had air suspension, wouldnt two air suspension units break instead of one at a time? for example, on towncars, in the past 15 years, my dad probably owned 40 or more towncars (he has a limosine company), and since 1991, he bought his first towncar with air suspension, all the way to today, and I believe only 3 of his towncars had messed up air suspension. The thing I noticed is, when the air suspension was messed up, its always two air suspension units that will be faulty, that way the car wont look wierd on the road.

Some of the EBs did come with air suspension but I'm not sure all of them did. You might check the airlines going to the air strut . It might be leaking air, causing the suspension to droop in that wheel well.
