Hello to everyone,
I have been coming here for information for a long time. Thank you all for such a wonderful source by the way. Anyways, I will be starting a build for my wife soon, and have decided to post the progress. I guess maybe I should introduce myself first...
My wife, myself and our dogs make up quite a troop. We sold out a few years back and left society "if you will", for a life spent roaming the Great Basin country. Anywhere really, but that's a special place for us. We are modern Gypsies I guess, not really... But kind of. Anyways, we're a funky bunch and I will leave it there.
The build will be a 1993 Explorer- 4.0ohv- m50d- Atlas 3speed- dana 44 front- dana 60 rear- some fancy parts- 4:10's and 33" tires. It's not going to be a crawler, but a daily driven- roaming the back country type of rig. A side kick to our tow rig, smaller and cheaper to operate, but still semi capable of moving about remotely. Short and wide with small tires and common parts.
I will start a build page for it once it begins, other than that... Thanks for this awesome place, and hope everyone is well.
