K&N Intake for PIU?

Hey all,

I bought a cold air intake system from K&N (77-2575KS) that is suitable for ‘13-‘19 ford explorers to chug it on my ‘17 PIU. Called the customer service there beforehand and they told me that they *probably* would fit, no guarantees though…
Tried to fit it on today and the holes for the intake box doesn’t really match up with the factory ones, and the intake pipe was a full 2 inches short. I don’t know if the engine layout is different for a PIU…
I seen Felony PIU’s engine bay has one installed…wondering which product he uses…

Unless you are installing it for the sound, it appears the CAI isn't worth it. Check out this thread which also mentions the same part number.

Air intake and filter

So I'm really curious on who all out here has put a K&N full air intake kit on a 2015 3.7 police interceptor seeing as how KNN doesn't make one for that truck there's got to be a way that I can put one on it. Can somebody please help.
