Hey everyone can anyone help me out with this???

I have a 2007 Explorer...once a while the key fobs work from far away and the next day they barely work.....i have to go right up the truck to open it....i've gotten new key fobs and changed batteries. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem???

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the stock 2006-2010 section. Some areas have more interference than others. Stand on different sides of the vehicle to see which part is the most sensitive.

Stick the key fob against your head and see if that helps. Seriously.

yea it's frusterating cause i don't wanna take it in but i think i'm going to have too.......

Is it working differently in the same environment?

yes when i'm at work with cars around it doesnt' work and when i'm at home same thing you have to put the key fob up to the car in order for it to unlock

No joke . . . hold the fob firmly against your chin while you press the button . . you're in effect turning your skeleton into an xmit antenna......
