Keyless entry key fob compadibility

I need some new key fobs, but has anybody successfully programmed these newer key fobs to work on an older Explorer? It says they can be programmed for almost all Ford vehicles, but I wanted to see if anybody actually did it before I bidded.

I guess you can pull a module out from a '98-'01 Explorer and use the remotes. Otherwise, you can program those remotes to your '95 because that kind of remote is from '98- present...more specifically, for '02 and up.

Hartman this is your lucky day. Let me direct you to the key fob dept. Since they are from a 96 I guarantee you they will work on yours.

Thanks Bill, but I'm looking at getting the newer style fobs to work. They seem to be smaller and more durable as well.

Maby so but I've heard of guys saying that they think they feel a loss of HP with those new fobs. Not enough back pressure or something.
