I cannot get the key pad on the door of my 2002 mountaineer to communicate. I disconnected the battery. I reconnected the battery and programmed my two key fobs to the vehicle with out issue 8 key cycles it went into program mode and programed. The power locks also work from the inside as well. I have the factory door code in front of me which is 94796 i punch it in to the key pad until im blue in the face. The lights do light up on the key pad as do my interior lights and i can also lock the doors by pressing 7-8 and 9-0.After i try the factory code so many times the key pad flashes. I took the door panel off removed the entire harness frlm the door and checked all wires for breaks or crimes. Nothing. Does the key fobs not work off the same module as the driver door key pad? Should i get a replacement central security module? Should i go with one from ford or try a junk yard unit? I do 94796 1 nothing 94796 3-4 nothing. Please point me in some kind of direction as this cant be a Normal problem.

Yes that is the number i have. Thanks for trying to help though. Guess i am going to just have to start wasting money
